I'm here and we'll be getting things under way soon. Send us some questions.
It certainly didn't help. She's a good athlete who brings leadership and poise to the floor. They can overcome it, but it hurt. I don't know if it was more or less significant than expected, suppose it depends on who you ask, but it was a loss, no doubt.
Good question. I haven't seen the Longhorns actually play outside of the Class B tournament last season. I think the first five can play with the Tigers, though. The problem lies in how do your 5 through 8 guys do against the pressure? Really good question.
Keffeler's size could be a really big key in that hypothetical matchup. Can he deter White River from getting to the rim and stay out of foul trouble? I don't know.
Somebody tell me how Syracuse drops from No. 1 to No. 4 in the coaches' poll after one loss on the road without its starting center. Nutty.
And I don't want anybody else to tell me Lee Evans dropped that pass. It was a nice defensive play. Not a drop.
I think I do. You've got an all-stater in Warwick with great range and a really solid player in Hensch. Both are great athletes (can each dunk at under 6 feet tall). I would say they're up there with any other backcourt in S.D. They didn't exactly show it against Dells, though.
I think it's safe to say they've already failed to live up to preseason expectations. I'm just wondering if they can turn it around and spring an upset at the state tournament (they both should still make it). I think the Stevens girls have a far better shot. Central just doesn't have enough scoring, in my opinion, outside of Cody Harris.
Raoul -- Do you have a more explosive S.D. backcourt in mind?
Busch and Odegaard in Brookings come to mind for me. White River's Krogman and Waln are a good one. I can't think of too many others but I might be overlooking somebody.
That's a tough question. Currently, I think if I had one pick I'd take Mitchell's Jade Miller. I love Wyatt Krogman's game, too. Caitlin Duffy's pretty good as well.
Cole Langer's a stud, too.
And Heidi Hoff ... she's really good.
Cobbler boys. Raider girls, but that girls' game is always close.
RE: The best players question ... The two kids at Pierre are really good (Hanson has big-time potential) but I haven't really seen them enough to say I'd take one of them first. Some people look at me like I'm crazy when I say Miller, but he does so many things well and has that Miller ranginess.
I don't want to shortchange Margaret McCloud, either. She's always been a treat to watch. I love players that can use both hands and she does it as well as anybody, male or female.
We're shutting it down pretty soon. Get your last questions in.
